This webinar entails the use of the Hot Disk TPS technique by Sima to measure the thermal conductivity of polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) polymers with varying amounts of carbon nanotubes as filler. TPS Webinar – Anisotropic Polymers

This webinar takes a look at Hot Disk theory as well as investigations performed by a specific research group using the Hot Disk. The goal of the work outlined in this webinar was to increase the thermal conductivity of polymer composites by the addition of varying amounts of carbon fiber filler particles. Measurements using the anisotropic software module are correlated to results obtained using the guarded heat flow meter. – Presented by Michael Thomas
