About the Speaker

Jagannadh Sripada is an application scientist at Thermtest with a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from University of New Brunswick. He completed his Bachelors and Masters degree in the Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. At Thermtest, Jagannadh specializes in thermo-physical testing and analysis of diverse materials, including metals, ceramics, polymers, and composites, utilizing a range of thermo-physical instruments. Prior to joining Thermtest, Jagannadh worked at the intersection of physical and mechanical metallurgy for over 6 years. He conducted research in diverse areas such as thin coating depositions, synthesis of micrometer sized particles, additive manufacturing and published his findings in peer-reviewed journals. He is driven by scientific curiosity and attention to detail.
