Abstract: Nanocomposites were prepared by the mixing of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) with nitrile and hydrogenated nitrile elastomers (NBR and HNBR). A variety of methods including TEM, SEM, and XRD were used in order to investigate the morphology of the nanocomposites. Many mechanical properties of the nanocomposites were measured and reported. A machine was used to measure the thermal properties of the synthesized nanocomposites.
