Abstract: This study looked to analyze temperature effects on thermal transport properties of dry granite, gabbro, marble, and sandstone samples. An instrument was used with a high temperature chamber to perform thermal conductivity measurements on the rock samples. The thermal conductivity of the granite, marble, and sandstone samples were found to decrease with increasing ambient temperature, while the gabbro remained almost constant.
