Abstract: The effect of a titanate coupling agent on the thermal conductivity of talc filled high density polyethylene. Moisture content and mechanical properties were studied in addition to thermal conductivity. Samples with and without the isopropyl tri(dioctyl)phosphate titanate were investigated. Thermal conductivity did not change with the addition of the coupling agent, however the stiffness and tensile strength of the samples did increase.
