Abstract: This article studied the effect of the addition of TiO2 nanoinclusions on bulk Ba8Ga16Ge30clathrate. Both thermal conductivity and electrical resistivity were investigated. Results produced by the TPS system revealed that thermal conductivity decreased as the amount of nanoinclusions increased. The authors concluded that a shift in the peak value of the Seebeck coefficient had occurred. Electrical resistivity increased with the addition.
