Abstract: The transient hot wire method was used to measure the thermal conductivity of the following polyatomic gases: hydrogen, nitrogen, carbon monoxide and methane. The measurements occurred in the range from 0.8-10 MPa, at 35 degrees Celsius, and have an estimated uncertainty of ±0.2%.
