Abstract: New representative equations are put forth for the thermal conductance of benzene (C6H6) which are based on a body of experimental data that has been critically assessed for internal consistency and for agreement with theory. The data was obtained through use of the thermal hot wire technique, among others. These correlations are applicable from the triple point to temperatures up to 725 K, and pressures up to 500 MPa with overall uncertainties less than 4.4%.
