Abstract: This article aims at assessing the impact of rice husk ash and volcanic ashes on the processing of porous inorganic polymers. The addition of volcanic ash or rice husk ash in porous Inorganic Polymer Composites (IPC) allows for the reduction of sodium silicate necessary, improving the Si/Al ratio. Thermal conductivity was measured using an instrument through the transient plane source method. With the addition of aluminum content and rounded pores obtained, thermal conductivity of the composites increased.
