Abstract: This paper analyzes the effects of temperature and air humidity on the thermophysical properties of laterite rocks. Thermal conductivity was measured using a thermal analyzer instrument and the sample and sensor were placed in an airtight humidity chamber. In this method, the TPS element acted as both a temperature sensor and heating element. Thermal conductivity was found to increase by 14.7% with an increase in relative humidity of ambient air.
