Abstract: Graphene is a 2D single layer of carbon atoms, superior to graphite in mechanical properties and thermal conductivity. Polymer/graphene composites can be fabricated using several techniques, however this study analyzed a solid state in situ method for the creation of polyamide-6 (PA6)/graphene composites. Thermal conductivity was measured using a Thermal Constant Analyzer by transient plane source method. Thermal conductivity of PA6-graphene composites increased with the increase of graphene content.
