Thermtest Inc, a leading provider of thermal conductivity testing instruments, is extremely pleased to announce a major expansion of its headquarters, based in Fredericton, NB. To accommodate increasing business demands, the new location will triple the current capacity. Located in Hanwell, NB, the new 15,000 sqft facility, will serve as the headquarters for Thermtest’s expanding global business operations and enable the company to continue to grow here in New Brunswick.
“It is wonderful to see the growth of Thermtest. Since joining the organization in 2019, I have seen the company develop in terms of culture, leadership, and global recognition. This expansion into a new open concept facility will allow Thermtest to leverage its expertise in product innovation and export trade aspirations well into the future.”, as commented by Lesley Hillier, Thermtest Chief Global Strategy Officer.
Given Thermtest’s focus on thermal conductivity, the new headquarters is true by design with floor to ceiling ICF construction for significant energy saving characteristics. The continuous foam panels in ICFs provide an R-value of R-25, as well as the thermal mass of the concrete core in the walls to keep a space warm in the winter, and cool in the summer months.
