Photochemical Generation of Ag, Pd, and Pt Particles in Octane

Octane solutions containing metal salts were irradiated with 350 nm photons using oleoyl sarcosine as a particle stabilizer and benzophenone as a particle sensitizer to produce suspensions of nanometer-sized metal particles.
