Influence of core materials on thermal properties of melamine-formaldehyde microcapsules

A series of melamine-formaldehyde microcapsules were synthesized using an in-situ polymerization and subsequently characterized for their thermal and structural properties. SEM and FT-IR were used to investigate the structural properties and DSC and TGA were used to investigate the thermal properties.
