Raw multi-walled carbon nanotubes (r-MWCNTs) and Cu nanoparticles are dispersed in an epoxy matrix in varying quantities to create composite polymers with enhanced thermal conductivities. Experimental study of the thermal properties of composite stearic acid / coffee grounds / graphite for thermal energy storage

Composite phase change materials were prepared using stearic acid, coffee grounds, and graphite. The coffee grounds were used as a supporting material for the stearic acid, and the graphite was added in an effort to enhance the thermal conductivity of the composite. High thermoelectric performance in Bi2-xPbxBa2Co2Oy promoted by directional growth and annealing

The laser floating zone method was used to prepare Pb doped Bi2-xPbxBa2Co2Oy thermoelectric materials with x=0, 0.2, 0.4, and 0.6. The highest power factor reported was obtained at 650oC for the 0.2 Pb doped samples. This value was higher than that for pure laser grown Bi2Ba2Co2Oy materials.
