Nanofluids are used to improve the thermal conductivity of heat transfer fluids. This study examined the effects on thermal conductivity of zinc oxide (ZnO)/ethylene glycol + water nanofluids as increasing concentrations of ZnO nanopartilces were added to the solution. Nano-PCMs for passive electronic cooling applications

The authors have carried out an experimental and numerical study on the effects of seeding Al2O3 nanoparticles in a paraffin wax phase change material (PCM) on the thermal conductivity and the latent heat of fusion.
