New TPS Model – TPS 3500 Thermal Conductivity System
Thermtest is pleased to announce the latest product addition to our extensive lineup of TPS Thermal Conductivity Instruments, the Hot Disk Transient Plane Source TPS 3500.
The flagship Transient Plane Source TPS 3500 offers the highest accuracy for transient measurements of Thermal Conductivity, thermal diffusivity and specific heat from 0.001 to 1800 W/m∙K. The TPS 3500 Thermal Conductivity Instrument is designed for analyzing thermal transport properties of solids, liquids, paste and powders, including various sample geometries and measurement temperatures with the use of special two-sided or single-sided TPS sensors. The TPS 3500 joins TPS 2500 S, TPS 2200 and TPS 1500 meeting the ISO standard ISO/DIS 22007-2.2.
Optional testing modules allow the TPS 3500 to be used for special applications, such as anisotropic samples or layered structures (Anisotropic Testing Module), high thermal conductivity sheets or slabs (Slab Testing Module), high thermal conductivity rods or cylinders (One Dimensional Testing Module), measurements of thin films, coatings or adhesive layers (Thin Films Testing Module), direct measurement of specific heat (Specific Heat Module) and structural-homogeneity probe (Homogeneity Module), important applications across a broad range of industries and academia.
